Boy, it sure is “interesting times” throughout the world as we all deal with the current Covid-19 pandemic moving throughout, well, everywhere. Our small, fairly remote valley is no exception. At the time of writing this blog post, Governor Bullock has issued a “Stay at Home Directive” throughout the State of Montana. This means that no guided fishing trips can be done until the order is rescinded. See order here. As much as it hurts, we are going to fully comply with the order to help make sure that we are not a part of the spread of Covid-19.
Moving Forward.

As anglers, we are inherently an optimistic bunch, so we are moving forward and preparing for a fun and exciting guide season this summer and fall. At this time, we are not making any changes to our 72 hour cancellation policy. This is subject to change. However, if you have already booked a trip with us in 2020 and at the time of your trip, COVID-19 is still prevalent and interfering with the public’s health and travel, we will be sympathetic and happy to discuss the best path forward regarding your fishing reservation.
We believe if we all do our part to help slow the spread of the virus, we can have a fun and productive summer ahead of us. Forecasting what the future holds is like predicting the exact day that spruce moth hatch is going to show up on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. Nobody knows, but we are going to stay optimistic and we hope you do too. If you have any questions regarding your reservation or would like to “chew the cud” about fishing, please feel free to contact us at (406) 261-4343. Thanks!
